Second-Hearing on the Proposed Driveway Ordinance

September 20, 2005

Call to Order: Meeting called to order at the Webster Town Hall by Chair Oliphant at 6:00 PM. All board members were present along with eleven town residents were in attendance.

Pledge of Allegiance: The Board led the crowd in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Proof of Posting: Clerk Yttri attested to the proper posting in two newspapers for two weeks in addition to posting at the three designated locations and on the website.

Reading of the Ordinance: Chair Oliphant reviewed some of the changes that were made since the last Ordinance Hearing. Residents attending agreed that they had previously read the proposal. Several copies were distributed to residents who did not bring their own copies. Residents discussed driveway width, length and the minimum 30 ft. tube length. No changes were made to the revised Driveway Ordinance.

Vote: The Board asked for a show of hands from the people in attendance as to the general feeling on the Ordinance. Eight residents were in favor of the Ordinance and three were not.

Motion to Adopt: Supervisor Parker moved to adopt the Driveway Ordinance, seconded by Supervisor Nemec. Carried.

Adjourn: Supervisor Nemec moved to adjourn the meeting seconded by Supervisor Parker.
