Town of Webster-Waste Collection
The town Recycling Center is open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm every Saturday.
The following guidelines should be followed for all recyclable materials.
Glass-- Bottles and Jars only
Rinse thoroughly. Remove caps and rings, separate by colors. (Green, brown, clear) No window glass.
Tin Cans
Rinse, remove labels, flatten.
Plastics
Rinse, remove caps, no bags. Note: There are many types of plastics currently only plastics labeled as follows are accepted.
Newspaper
Bundle and tie with heavy string. Do not place in brown paper bags.
Magazines
Bundle and tie with heavy string. Do not place in brown paper bags.
Low Grade Mixed Paper
Office paper, junk mail, boxboard(cereal boxes), brown bags. Place mixed paper in brown paper grocery bags(no plastic bags), fold down top and tie with string. No wax paper or plastic wraps. No dog or cat food, feed or fertilizer bags, no tissue paper or paper towels.
